We invite organisations that manage green spaces within the borough of Croydon to apply for this funding. Successful applicants will be required to submit a cost breakdown outlining how the grant will be spent, and the plants must consist of UK-grown wildflowers and native species.

Croydon Beekeepers Association Pollinator Forage Grant – Terms and Conditions
The Croydon Beekeepers Association (CBKA) is pleased to offer small grants of up to £200 to support local initiatives that help provide forage for pollinators within the borough of Croydon. By applying for this funding, applicants agree to the following terms and conditions:
- Eligibility
The grant is open to organisations that manage green spaces within the borough of Croydon.
Applicants must be not-for-profit organisations or community groups managing or caring for land or green spaces within the borough.
The project must be focused on sowing and/or planting UK-grown wildflowers and native plant species to provide forage for pollinators. The Croydon Beekeepers Association reserves the right to reject applications if non-native species are proposed. - Grant Amount
The maximum grant available is £200.
Successful applicants will receive a one-off grant to support their project. - Application Process
All applications must be submitted via the online application form.
The deadline for submissions is 21st April 2025.
Applicants are required to provide a clear and detailed cost breakdown outlining how the grant will be spent. - Use of Funds
The funds must be used only for the purposes set in the application and these T&Cs.
Funds may be used for purchasing seeds, plants, growing media, tools, and other relevant materials directly related to the implementation of the project.
Any changes to the proposed use of funds must be approved by the Croydon Beekeepers Association in advance. - Grant Conditions
Successful applicants must complete their project and submit a final report within 6 months of receiving the grant.
Representatives from CBKA will visit the site, at your invitation, and take photographs within 6 months of the grant being received.
The project should be clearly visible to the public and offer ongoing benefits to pollinators. - Reporting and Accountability
Successful applicants will be required to provide the CBKA with an itemised report detailing how the grant was spent and how it contributed to the creation of forage for pollinators.
The report should include photographs and evidence of the planted areas and ongoing maintenance or care of the planted species. - Publicity
Successful applicants agree to allow the Croydon Beekeepers Association to use images, reports, and details of the project for promotional purposes, including but not limited to the CBKA website and social media platforms.
Any publicity material relating to the funded project must acknowledge the support of the Croydon Beekeepers Association. - Selection and Judging
All applications will be reviewed by a selection panel from the Croydon Beekeepers Association.
The panel’s decision is final, and unsuccessful applicants will not be provided with feedback. - Data Protection
By submitting an application, you agree to the Croydon Beekeepers Association processing your personal data for the purpose of administering the grant. The CBKA will treat all data in accordance with its privacy policy, available on its website. - Changes to the Terms and Conditions
The Croydon Beekeepers Association reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated on the website. - Liability
The Croydon Beekeepers Association is not responsible for any injury, loss, or damage that may occur as a result of implementing the funded project.
All applicants agree to indemnify the Croydon Beekeepers Association against any claim or liability arising from their project.
