Soup Scrape and Scorch 2024

An afternoon of scrubbing at the Apiary, followed by soup and a bonfire.

The idea behind Soup, Scrape and Scorch is to get the hive equipment at Hartley Down clean and ready for storage before the Winter really sets in.

By way of a bribe and to keep the spirits up, we will also be offering a warming soup with a roll and possibly some mulled wine to accompany the job of boiling and cleaning up frames, scrubbing hive boxes and giving them a good scorching with the blowlamp.
