Asian Hornet Week 2023

September 4th – 10th 2023 is Asian Hornet Week, which this year takes on a new urgency. There have already been multiple nest sightings (22 as at 23rd August) predominantly in Kent, but also in Hampshire and Devon.

Why is Asian Hornet Week being held?

We aim to raise awareness of the Asian hornet through a series of activities planned for the week. This hornet could decimate our pollinators including our honeybees so it is important to have everyone actively looking for it.
