SUMMARY:The National Honey Show 2023
DESCRIPTION:The National Honey Show is celebrating its Centenary at the forthcoming show, 26 to 28 October 2023.\nFrom its inception in 1923 when it was first held at Crystal Palace, the show has gone from strength to strength to become the foremost show of its kind in the world.\nIn addition to the usual spectacular display of competitive entries of honey, beeswax, hive products, arts, crafts and much more; the vibrant trade hall, lectures and workshops, there will be additional celebrations at this year’s show.\n1. Exhibition of Photographs by the French Photojournalist, Eric Tourneret.\n2. Historic Beekeeping Films will be shown Thursday afternoon 26th October 2023 from 2pm.\n3. Special Centenary Entry Classes (82‐ 87) inspired from years gone by (see p 29 Schedule: https://www.honeyshow.co.uk/download‐schedule.php ).\n4. Planting of Centenary tree.\n5. Historic shop front for The National Honey Show Sales Stall.\n6. Display of cups and trophies including The Crystal Palace Cup, gifted by the original Crystal Palace Trustees.\n7. Special Centenary flags, prize cards, medals, badges and pens.\n8. Trade Hall specials from both new and regular stand holders.\nBob Maurer, National Honey Show Committee Chair said:\n“This year’s National Honey Show is a credit to a century of enthusiasm by our dedicated team of volunteers and visitors. We want to share with you the upbeat zest and excitement which characterises the show, welcome new visitors to come along to share the experience, and lead the way to an ever bigger and better show over the next 100 years.”\n
